Our Home

The Princess House was founded in January 2005. The story goes that the house was under the former Oxford House, which was closing.There were five ladies who did not know where they were going, several had been sick one with cancer and was worried about the closing and what they were going to do. Dr. Sarita Graham, who re-organized the house and re-named it The Princess House, In memory of her daughter's nickname Princess, stepped up to the plate and gave them hope.

The Princess House is a faith-based, family focused transitional living environment. It believes in an unbeatable concept, a combination of faith in God, supportive family, compassionate good in-patient/out-patient/after-care treatment, and complete recovery support with the assistance of diligent community-based resources.

The women, young and middle age, come from all walks of life. Some of them have generational addiction with substance abuse as a way out and re-entry of ex-offenders and veterans of war. When the substance abusers or the incarcerated are parents… children suffer. We offer an environment where LOVE heals; creating a life that is clean, sober, self-sufficient and equipped with skills to build a life independent from drugs, alcohol or re-entry of prison.

Sarita'Lynne Ministries is a Christ-centered non-profit organization founded in 2002 and is dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men and women. Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, life management , and abstinence and recovery from substance abuse.

The key to the success of Sarita'Lynne Ministries is a comprehensive approach to addressing the diverse issues, both immediate and long term, that impact homeless individuals and families. This model of compassionate, purposeful outreach, coupled with community partners and donors, creates an environment in which lives are transformed and people are inspired to rise above poverty, set meaningful, measurable goals for independence and achievement.

Prophetic Word from the Lord:

1 Cor. 3:9 - For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, [you are] God's building

This is what the Word of the Lord is for you regarding why all the houses are on Benton.

The name "Benton" is of English origin. The meaning of Benton is "bent grass settlement, town near the moor".

Moor meaning a broad tract or open land; to make secure or make fast; to fix in place..etc. (synonym *More)

All those that have been bent over (or out of position in God for their divine purposes) because of whatever their life circumstances WILL encounter a true spiritual experience with Jesus because of these faith-base transional homes (or settlements)..(1 Cor 3:9)

God will cause them to settle down, position them, and "straightway"; they will be made "Straight" and to stand up to serve in God's Kingdom..(Luke 13:13).

The "Town near the moor" is representative of the place of Bethel... meaning the House of God... the place were the Bread of Life (Jesus is in the House!) can be found and they will receive the "More*" (what has been promised to us by our God)... for our Salvation, our Redemption, our Healing, our Prosperity and our Deliverance.

All because of a true encounter with the Most High God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus the Christ.

Luke 13:11 - And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise [herself] up. 12) But when Jesus saw her, He called [her] to [Him] and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity." 13) And He laid [His] hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
